Dear KDB,

I’m glad we happened. You never gave us a proper shot but I did. I can move forward without any regrets. I wish you the very best. You will always have a friend in me because when push comes to shove, I always represent for those I care about.

You awakened love in me in a way I never thought possible. You have been my biggest lesson. Thank you. If I can pour so much energy into someone who didn’t appreciate it, I know if I put in that effort into my own life and dreams, I’d do so much better for myself.

So, beginning now, I officially let go off you so I can grab hold onto the future I’ve always dreamed of. A future you were never meant to be a part of.
