The time is 5:00 am. Your girl is wide awake and bothered. She’s trying to figure out why she does what she does and why she can’t seem to stay on the straight and narrow path. Your girl loves the moments that she hears God speak and she knows He’s the one.

Almost everyone is asleep and she knows that the distractions are minimal and she can have her God time in piece. She asked, “do I not love you enough?”

He said , “You do.”

“So, why? Why do I keep letting you down?” she cried out.

“You’re impulsive. You don’t have self control. You do whatever you feel like when you feel like. You get high off of the thrill of being spontaneous “ He pointed out.

“Self control is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. If I don’t have that then does it mean I don’t have the Spirit?” She asked in a panicked small voice.

“You do have the Spirit but you haven’t surrendered all of you. In some parts of your life, you are the lord.” He said sadly

“I’m sorry. Please take Your seat at the throne of my heart, Lord. I surrender it all to you. I have made a mess of everything and I’m tired of fixing things I can’t fix. Please help me” she pleaded.

“Thank you, my child. You have to take it one day at a time and one moment at a time. You’re growing. It may not look like you are but you definitely are.” He said encouragingly

“Thank You, Lord” she said
