Dear Diary,

There’s so much to tell you! So much tea to spill. This is a whole new world! Ava and I went to a party on my first night here and it was totally amazing! Initially, I felt strange being around that many people but thanks to my alter ego, Bree, I made it through the night (smirks). I had the best time at the party. I met a couple of new people that I bonded with almost instantly. We had some things in common. Well, the party was off campus by the way. It was a house party. It was well planned too. The kind of party I read and watched the cool kids throw in books and tv shows. So basically, I went to a cool kids shindig. Guess I’m cool now (giggles). Well, Ava is the poster child for a fake. She’s not who I thought she was and the impression she gave my parents was totally unreal. She’s totally drunk off her ass right now. One heck of a hangover coming up (laughs uncontrollably)! She’s gonna need a whole painkiller manufacturing lab to take that awful headache away. She kept on guzzling every drink that came her way. I’m up now trying to keep her from drowning in her puke (disgusted look). Enough of the misadventures of Ava. I met a guy! He was so nice to me. He’s called Jason. Dark skinned as opposed to my light skin. I thought he was beautiful because handsome just doesn’t cut it (dreamy eyes).

He’s a senior just a year ahead. You’d think after all this, I’d say he’s tall but he’s not. I’m 5’2 and so is he. Not really my type of guy but he’s beautiful so that’ll do. He’s one of the guys that threw the party so you can say I have a crush on the host of the best party I’ve ever been to. (Checks time)

Dang, it! I’m supposed to be meeting him soon. Got to go! What shall I wear? (Choices, choices)
