I’ve never experienced a birthday in that I was happy from the moment I woke up until I laid my head down to sleep in the night. Chapter 28, however, was the exception. I woke up joyful and excited for the day at midnight on 10/10/22. I joined in the Alpha Hour prayers and then went back to sleep. When my alarm went off at 5:50, I woke up ready to share the link for NSPPD with my friends and family. I joined in the prayer and I walked away blessed and ready. Throughout the day, I felt something was amiss and I soon realized that I didn’t have the usual birthday blues. I didn’t want to disconnect but I felt happy. For once, I was enjoying the wishes. I think that is the first indication that this year is going to be different. I was on a high all day and I’m still riding that high. The gifts were just a bonus. What is a win for this day is that I saw it through from morning till night. I never disconnected my phone. I never disappeared and that’s my biggest win all day!
I don’t know how the rest of the year is going to go but I know that I am capable of handling it. I also know that God’s words over my life won’t return to Him void. They will accomplish everything they’re supposed to so I rest easy.
Cheers to me again for turning 28! I’m older, wiser & prettier!!!
