Dear Diary,
Everything is unravelling. I know it’s been months since our last chat. Forgive me okay because schoolwork is definitely kicking my butt couple that with a boyfriend, it has not been easy. So, we’re getting to the end of my first year as a college student and I can proudly say that I am definitely not dead. I made it. Anyway, after our last chat, I came to meet Ava in the room after class. But that is not what we’re discussing now. I really don’t know what has gotten into Jared’s head lately. He’s been less than agreeable this past couple of weeks. He announced his desire to be the chair of the student council. Ugh, I know right. It’s going to be so tiring for both of us because I said I’d help. I don’t know what I was thinking when I said that considering I had this project that made up sixty per cent of my grade to submit at the end of the semester. I’ve missed a couple of meetings with the team in charge of his campaign. That didn’t go so well with him and anytime I’m there, I’m talking with my project partner who is a really good looking guy called Sam. I miss being with Jared but I too, have a life to live. I can’t get all wrapped in a man even if he were my husband. If I didn’t learn anything from the grown-ups in my life, I certainly paid attention to that. Anyway, Jared and got into it that we hardly spend any time together. I’m really considering moving in with him for the last couple of weeks before the semester ends. Maybe at the end of the day, we can catch up. I spoke to Ava and Elaine about it and they sort of agree.
Ava decided to keep the baby. Apparently, there’s no problem with her being pregnant as a student. She would, however, have to move out of the campus accommodation after she delivers. So, Elaine and I decided to rent an apartment with her outside campus. It’s surprisingly cheaper than most and it’s not far from campus so that’s good. She’s starting to show. She can’t go home for a while though. I don’t know what she told her parents but they seemed to understand. They are going to be so shocked to find her with a child on graduation day. Someone’s at the door. Got to go.
Toodles!
