I have thought hard and long on how to write this review and I figured out that the best way is to write what comes to mind.

2019 has been full of surprises. The good kind and the bad kind.

The year hasn’t turned out the way I expected but I can say that it was what it was supposed to be.

I received a word from God this year and I kept wondering how considering all that was going on as at the time the word came.

The word I received was that 2019 was going to be the beginning of the best years of my life and it’s proving to be true because if you look at how things were last year, and compare them to now, I know the only way is up.

This year, I turned 25! Officially entered the mid-twenties and I felt old and like a failure and then I got another word which said we’re on separate journeys with different purposes and stories and I must live out my life. I have to follow my path wherever it may lead and however long it’ll take and I felt peace and content.

This year, I finally became secure and content in God’s love and that has forever changed me.

There are a couple of things I wasn’t able to do this year. I couldn’t finish my first book or the series on the blog but I hope to finish it in the next.

In this journey of life, we’ll pause and rest but we’ll never quit on the tasks before us.

I lost a bit of weight this year and that’s cool or whatever. I picked up some skills I’m hoping to monetize later.

I’m extremely grateful for 2019 and all its lessons. I’m excited about 2020! Because I believe I’m on the rise 💃🏿
