Irrespective of what situations we find ourselves in, who we ultimately are will always shine through. I am by nature a nurturer and a lover. No matter how many times people hurt me, I vow to hold back and be giving my 100% to another person that needs it in the next second. I love taking care of people. I enjoy making them feel good. If I say, I’m in your corner then you best believe that I am riding with you 100%.
I have tried after several times that I have been burned by people to detach a little and to give just a tiny bit of myself and trust me when I tell you that I have ultimately failed tremendously. I just can’t help myself.
Let me tell you about a funny situation. My ex and I ended on an actual good note until we didn’t. So, here I am, mad at this person and feeling all petty and I see this write up in a group on WhatsApp and I am led by the Holy Spirit to send to this man and also to pray for him. Bruh, I had a whole argument with God that led to nowhere because at the end of the day, I sent the message and prayed for him and this man left me on read. I was so hurt by that and I did some petty stuff (It wasn’t anything dramatic so easy on the imagination) I am not proud of.
My point is, he did me dirty somewhat and I felt like he needed my help and I still gave it. The funny part is, if the situation should arise again, I would most definitely rise to the occasion again why because, I am trying my best to represent the faith I profess. It is hard but we take it day by day. Jesus ain’t never lie when he said we shouldn’t dwell on tomorrow because today has enough of its own problems. (I got lost again, didn’t I?)
KINDLY TAKE NOTE:
