Diary of a Sheltered Teen #4

Dear Diary,

You won’t believe how much time has passed since my last entry. It’s been one heck of a month! I know I promised to make entries every day but college is hard and tough. I’ve been juggling classes with my boyfriend. Well, now ex-boyfriend (hisses). Oh yeah, I never told you about that date. It was everything I dreamed of. Heck, it was surreal. At one point, I thought he was reading my mind because he was doing everything I ever thought about the date would be. I wore that red dress Aunt Liv got me. That A-line symmetry with my body type was everything. It was a bit off the shoulder and a little bit above my knee. I would date my self if I were weird like that. I usually put my curls in a bun because it’s easier that way. But for my date, I let my hair down (winks). The curls framed my beautiful face and I’m not much of a make-up artist so just my favourite lipstick and I was ready. I obviously didn’t go with flats! I wore those cute sandals I got from aunt Liv last Christmas and paired it with that really cute purse mom got me for my birthday 2 years ago. In case you’re wondering, those accessories were nude coloured. It seems to be my new thing. Well, Jason was impressed. We had a rad time. It was dinner and a movie and a walk around the beach. Very romantic if you’d ask me. At some point during the stroll, guess what?! I had my very first kiss. Let me describe it to you. So he cracked a joke and I can’t for the life of me remember what he said but I laughed so hard and you know how I throw my head back when I laugh with that twinkle in my eyes, well he couldn’t resist my cuteness(winks and giggles) so he kissed me. It was weird because I’d never done it before but I got into it. He brought me back to my dorm room. We went a couple more times and he asked me out. I accepted but I didn’t really know the rules or the fact that he was a man-hussy. He tried to get me to go bed with him but that didn’t pan out too good for him. Ava didn’t really like him. So all that time, she was investigating. We ( Jason and I) had a huge fight and so I was ranting to Ava when she just let it all out. Jason had a girlfriend in every year group! And as for the freshmen, he had quite a handful of us. You’d be wondering how I never knew this but honey, my head was way up in the clouds at that point. But never again and since, mama raised no fool, I dropped him like a sack of potatoes. I have been focusing on school and friends so far. I made a couple of new friends in my dorm and in class as well as Ava’s friends.

(Looks at the time)

Dang, it! I’m gonna be late for my group meeting. Yeah, college is busy like that. I’ll be back soon to tell you about my new friends.

Toodles (smiles)
